Carey Alumni Weekend Marked By Full Schedule Of Events

Carey graduates, most notably these whose years of matriculation led to a “3” or “eight”, along with their friends and families, convened at the school’s Harbor East campus for a busy, interactive slate of occasions. Activities kicked off with a Global MBA class of 2013 welcome reception the evening of Friday, April 27. On Saturday the 28th, after a welcome breakfast for all alumni with the Student Government Association entitled “The Leaders of Tomorrow,” friends have been handled to tours of the Harbor East campus. Later that morning, alumni wistful for the classroom had the possibility to hear Carey Professor Steven Cohen discuss advanced marketing strategy in his interactive lecture, “Persuasion at Work: The Science of Getting to ‘Yes.’” That afternoon, Care y students in the faculty’s Innovation for Humanity program shared their international learning experiences with alumni, lots of whom also participated in the program throughout their time at Carey. The day’s busy agenda concluded with a capstone dinner and reception at Baltimore’s Pier 5 Hotel, hosted by Carey Dean Bernie Ferrari, together with the varsity’s Management Council and college. Alumni weekend concluded on Sunday, April 29, with a “Best of Baltimore” farewell brunch at newly opened Gunther & Co.
